 Comfortable,
recently built, detached cottage at Penmore (Mid way
between Dervaig and Calgary Bay) on the North West of
Mull.
Beautiful location, great bird and wildlife spotting
opportunities!
Plain fenced garden with picnic bench.
The accommodation is on the ground floor only. I live
in small flat upstairs with own entrance.
The decoration is modern and tasteful and furnished in
an eclectic style. Original local artwork hangs
throughout.
Accommodation consists of combined kitchen/ sitting/
dining room, hall, bathroom with W.C., basin and bath
with over bath shower, large double bedroom with
king-size bed and small twin bedroom. Sleeping 2-4
persons. It is possible for the double room to
accommodate another bed/cot.
The kitchen is well equipped with dual fuel cooker,
dishwasher and fridge freezer.
There are plenty of cooking utensils, crockery and
cutlery. Ecological cleaning materials are provided.
There is
access to a washing machine on the premises by
arrangement. An airer is provided for drying along with
washing line outside in garden.
The sitting/dining area has comfortable sofas by the
wood burning stove and there is a dining table at the
south facing window. The cottage has TV but poor
reception; there is a DVD player ( please bring your own
DVDs), CD player and radio. There is no telephone but
most mobile phone networks will have service.
The cottage is heated throughout by an electric boiler,
and is fully double glazed and well insulated.
Beds are comfortable and supplied with pillows, duvets
and 100% cotton bed linen. Extra blankets are also
available. Both rooms have plenty wardrobe space and a
chests of drawers.
Cost per week £400, this includes all bed linen and
towels, inc tea towels, oven glove and bath towels and
bath mat, fuel for the fire, electricity and central
heating.
Discounts are available for couples April – May – June &
September or for stays of 2 weeks or more.
